LIST WEB PROXY UNTUK MENYEMBUNYIKAN IP ADDRESS

Web proxy atau proxy web merupakan sebuah layanan web dimana web tersebut sebagai perantara atau gateway ketika kita mengakses internet, sehingga identitas kita (IP address komputer) akan sulit dideteksi. IP address yang dideteksi adalah IP address penyedia proxy web. Jadi, intinya adalah proxy bisa juga sebagai alat untuk menembus website yang diblokir oleh admin.

Sebenarnya web proxy ada baik dan buruknya. Menurut saya, baiknya adalah kita dapat surfing dan browsing di internet tanpa diketahui identitas asli kita. Sebenarnya setiap kita mengakses suatu website, si admin akan mencatat berapa IP address komputer kita. Kalau pake proxy, kan IP address kita ada dibalik IP addressnya si proxy. Jadi informasi siapa kita akan sulit untuk dilacak. Selain itu, biasanya kalau warnet, kampus, atau area hotspot memblokir suatu webiste tertentu, kita dapat menembus web-nya dengan menggunakan perantara si web proxy.

Kalau buruknya, web proxy biasanya akan memperlambat akses internet kita. Wajar saja, karena kita harus melewati server penyedia web proxy baru diteruskan ke website yang kita inginkan. Maklum kalau aksesnya bisa dua kali lebih lemot dari biasanya. Selain itu, jangan berikan account-account kita yang sifatnya secure/private menggunakan web proxy. Hindari itu karena ada kemungkinan account kita dapat tercatat (log) oleh admin penyedia web proxy.
